About CASA

When a child’s home becomes unsafe, and the child has to enter the Foster Care system, the judge may appoint a Court Ordered Special Advocate, or a CASA. A CASA is a trained volunteer who will advocate for the best interest of the child in court and other settings.

In short, a CASA is going to protect and promote the best interests of children who have suffered from abuse and neglect. These individuals come from all walks of life, but have a shared passion for helping children. You don’t need to have any knowledge on the Legal System or Foster Care system to be a CASA, all you have to do is volunteer.

Support CASA

Court Appointed Special Advocates are ordinary people looking to do extraordinary things. You don’t need to have any knowledge about the Foster Care or Legal Systems to volunteer. All volunteers are trained before the judge appoints you to a child’s case.
