Robbi Lachenal - May 2025 ADVOCATE OF THE MONTH

Robbi Lachenal

Robbi got her start in Advocacy while she lived in Florida. She served the town she lived in as a victim advocate for the police department. This was a difficult role for Robbi, she excelled at serving, but her heart was breaking due to her work. After much prayer and thought, she felt led to advocate for Children and Families through CASA of Wise and Jack Counties. Robbi has worked three cases in the year that she has served. Two children have been reunified with their mom, and one child is awaiting adoption. Robbi is a fierce advocate who devotes much time and energy into her work here. When she is not volunteering for us, Robbi spends her time with her two sons who live in the area and her grandchildren. We are absolutely blessed that she is a part of our program here at CASA.

What caused you to get involved with CASA?
After moving to Texas, I felt the call to rejoin Victim Advocacy and the Lord laid CASA on my heart.

What has been the most rewarding part of being a CASA?
Knowing that, however small, I played a role in making the lives of a few children a little better.

What’s your favorite way to connect with your CASA kids?
My CASA kids were all very young (infants and toddlers) so my favorite way to connect with them is to pick them up and love on them.

Please share a special moment with us about your advocacy work with your CASA kids.
The special moment (so far) is the day that the Judge ordered the case closed and Mom and children were reunited free of 2ingage and CASA. A celebration for sure.
